About Acoustic Groove:
In the spring of 1997, John Rogers (aka J.R.) and Gunnar Guenette began performing together as “Acoustic Groove.” With a common interest in acoustic, “wooden” music and voices that were made to sing together, J.R. and Gunnar worked up some songs and played some shows. Acoustic Groove quickly began to connect with area music lovers who were thrilled to hear interesting arrangements of great songs by The Beatles, Van Morrison, CSNY, Marvin Gaye and other such legacy artists.
