The recent #metoo and #timesup movements put the spotlight on inappropriate conduct in the workplace, prompting employers – across all industries – to take a closer look at their company’s sexual harassment policies and training.
In an October 2017 Gallup poll on sexual harassment in the workplace, 69 percent of U.S. adults said sexual harassment is a major problem (up from 50 percent in 1998) and 42 percent of U.S. women, along with 11 percent of men, say they have been a victim of sexual harassment.
